- etymology is actually 2nd du, used for address of

mother-in-law, father-in-law

(o)munuu/ (o)nuu

2nd sg. hon.

- used for the address of the village chief or generally

old persons who deserve respect, especially the short

form (o)nuu is reserved for the village chief
